Mixology classes are being launched at Chicago Bar Shop’s Lincoln Park bar showroom and flagship store, and at locations across Chicagoland.  This new line of mixology classes are inspired by a love of classic cocktails, an appreciation of modern beverage trends, and real mixologists and bartenders.

 

Chicago Mixology Classes

Mixology classes are fun and exciting! Join us in a real Chicago area bar, privately reserved for our cocktail class- then learn, shake, muddle and sip away! Most classes include 90 minutes of instruction, hands on preparation (& consumption) of two hand crafted cocktails per person (NOT sample sizes.)

Dive into the more “spirit forward” drinks from back before the word mixology was born, explore new trends in modern flavors, or just learn some of the most popular bar drinks and techniques to impress your friends. Each class will feature two main drinks (unless otherwise specified) and each student will be immersed in a hands-on cocktail making experience to remember.

Great bartenders are entertainers, and our instructors will use their years of experience behind real bars to teach you some of the tricks of the trade you can apply to your own entertaining style. Cocktail history, ingredient facts , tips, substitutions, a few jokes, and a good time are all to be expected from every Chicago Bar Shop mixology class.

Mixology Classes as gifts or for private events

Classes are available at a variety of Chicago and Chicagoland locations. Tickets for the mixology classes can be purchased online and printed at home for scheduled classes or even emailed as a unique or last minute gift idea. Gift certificates are also available for mixology classes, or add classes to your Chicago Bar Shop gift or wedding registry (coming soon!) Private parties and private mixology instruction at Chicago Bar Shop (or your own location) are also available. Mixology classes also make great ideas for a bachelor/bachelorette party, birthday, girls nights, and corporate entertaining or team building.
